HemoRec is a web based application including a comprehensive master data set designed for easily capturing of a broad array of data, including demographic information, medical history, physical examination results, laboratory data, and detailed information on the primary diagnosis, symptoms/manifestations, treatment, and potential complications. HemoRec provides unique customised forms feature. Any number of centre-specific data entry forms can be created by selecting the fields from the local master data set that best support the treatment practice of the individual centre.
To facilitate clinical overview and research, a number of pre-defined graphs and tables are available in HemoRec. These mainly relate to the number and location of bleeding episodes and infusions, and provide rapid, easy, longitudinal overview of variables for the individual patient as well as for selected groups of subjects. Additional customised reports facilitate the presentation and export of selected data to PDF files and to Microsoft Word and Excel formats for further analysis.
HemoRec is provided by an independent academic party – the Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses (IBA) at the Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. The application is developed and hosted in compliance with patient data privacy regulations in the EU (e-Privacy), US (21 CFR part 11, HIPAA), and Canada(PIPEDA)."
Nominated professionals from the area of haemophilia are highly committed to provide expert and scientific advises in order to ensure the smooth implementation of HemoRec in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia.
